Hip Hop Debate

So, I was a little bothered the other day. Nikky and I were listening to a discussion, rather a "debate" on hip hop. It was about these two people that can't hate on soulja boy, and they LOVE gucci mane because he is the worst, Best rapper alive.

We both decided that we don't want to be apart of that conversation. basically because WE KNOW AND LOVE HIP HOP! We all are aware that Soulja boy is making MADDD cash. And, everyone is on a Gucci hype. If you know and adore hip hop...we dont have to debate about it, or come to an agreement. I get kind of upset having these conversations with people. Dont debate music with me. Its just annoying. Soulja boy is mere entertainment for the young, or the ignorant ears who arent too fond of GOOD music. They just are hypnotized by the commercial radio. Gucci, I dont see how this can be ANYBODIES FAVORITE RAPPER! I mean, I understand why people like him. He is HILARIOUS and has awesome catch phrases. I dont know anyone who doesnt occasionally yell out a "BURR" now a days. I dig him too.

BUT!! Let it be known, and put it in writing....these two artists will NOT be in the hall of fame when we are older. These two will merely be memories. Like...remember soul 4 real-candy coated rain drops song? I mean, THAT WAS THEE JAM when we were younger, BUT, honestly..they are a "where are they now" type of group. Or how about when No Limit Soldiers were running shit?! Not a hall of famer, just a memory. SO, give Soulja 15 years...we will all be saying..."remember that superman song?! Where is he now?"

So, Hip hop debates...quit it! Just enjoy your music...but please, lets not put labels on shit that aint shit! IM JUSS SAYIN!

p.s I do apologize if Ive offended anyone...but this is MY opinion. Let me know if im wrong. I highly DOUBT that Im wrong..but this ought to be interesting if you dont agree. LMAO!

So, Im chatting my niece. Here is the convo...

Jadah: Auntie kia, the dumbest thing happened today!

Auntie Kia: What?

Jadah: A boy asked me, "are you SMART?"...so of COURSE, i say "YES!"

Love vs. the ugly, awesome guy.

My idea of love is not at all simple. Its not pretty, its not ugly. Its sort of like that ugly guy that has everything awesome to offer you. Does that make sense? Let me break it down.

The ugly guy with everything to offer compared to Love.

He isnt pleasing to the eye, you may not want him due to the fact that you want to vomit everytime you look at him. SEX, sort of grosses you out because he is over weight, his eyes may be cocked, his skin is ashy...WHATEVER you dont like about him...it grosses you out! [giggles to self] You hate his physical features.

Now I compared this to love because sometimes the thought of love is scary. I may fight it just so that I dont have to feel it. I'll make excuses to deny it. Or, sometimes, I dont "feel" like being in love. It has ugly features about it!! It hurts. It brings out the worst qualities in people. It can be the worst feeling in the world.

Back to the ugly guy that has everything great to offer you. He may be the ugliest thing since...hmm, idk...Steve Buscemi [may i add, he scares the SHIT out of me!]

[clears throat]...yeah, so he's ugly...but, he may have EVERYTHING AWESOME! What if, he is well established in his life, artistic, funny, great morals, kind, giving, forgiving, great in bed, your family and friends adore him, and just an all around TOO good to be true guy? Then what happens?! Do you stay?!

So, then we compare that to love. It hurts, its stupid, it drives you nuts, it keeps you up at night, it makes you argue, depresses you, makes you drink?! BUT, BUT, BUT....you've had some of the sappiest moments with love. We get those worthless phone calls or texts that makes you smile like a child at a candy store. It makes you have hope when the entire world made you feel like it's turning you upside down. It lifts you up to motivate you to go forward. It makes dreams come true. So, what happens?? Do you stay?!

-----we take chance on love...not for its worsts, but for what it could bring us possibly when we cant fulfill our own destiny. We weren't made to be alone. For some reason, everyone needs someone to love. Sucks, that we try to be sooo independent...but a couple of days alone, is PAINFUL. Imagine sitting in a room for...hmm...at least 4 days. No phone, computer, texting, not even a soap to watch on t.v to scream at those dumb bastards!! Wouldnt that drive you nuts?! Sooooo...do you stay?!

Friends, how many of us have them?

Im 23 years old. I still have my best friend from when I was 10 years old. Although we don't talk as much due to distance..I will never let her go as a friend. Hell, she named her baby after me. But, now that Im older....besides her, I can't give anyone a BFF title. I have very few true girlfriends that I can go to for anything...but TOO many to give one a true title. I always feel like I can go to one friend for hard times, one for boy issues, one for a shoulder to cry on...and all of them for an awesome time. some of their interests are WAY off, and some are very commercial. But, all in all, I love them equally...and they each bring a certain SOMETHING awesome to my life. Point is, life is TOO wide ranged to just have ONE special friend...learn to love big and get to know as many people as possible. You would be amazed at how different people from different areas, different backgrounds, different interests could effect your life! Ive been blessed to have met my lovely ladies... Leave the BFF's for the middle schoolers, trust few, and LOVE BIG!

Worst thing in the world...[besides falling in love with shoes, and they don't have your size]...is being sick. This whole tired, cold, hungry, not hungry, medication, chapped lips, sniffles, cough, sore, blah blah blah..etc. etc. etc. REALLY gets on my nerves. If I were a voodoo witch, or knew someone of that sort...BESTBUHLEEVE, id pay her a visit to wipe all this nastiness away from me. Lost Love

Lately, Ive been SO anti-love. It irritates me. The only people that i am FOR SURE IN love with are my girlies and my family. Loving a man has been so hard and distant for me this year, and I dont know where this all stems from. I dont know if I CAN love anymore. Im all loved out. The dumbest thing that Ive done for love, is FORCE myself out of it. Ive been in love with the same man since I was 10 years old, and am currently fighting the fact that he IS THE ONE for me. I just want to be free as of now. I hate the thought of love. Its kinda like...if your favorite food was pizza..and you ate pizza 10 YEARS STRAIGHT..the last THING THAT YOU WANT IS PIZZA! Even though you love it..too much of it puts a bad taste in your mouth. BLEH, thats what Im currently going through..It hurts sometimes, but Its what I want. So, as of now..i am using men for their company, but if they show too many feelings for me, i will let them go.

Swine FLu Jitters.

So, tomorrow, my job is giving swine flu shots, and im extremely terrified. I dont know which one scares me more...the shot...or the actual flu. Im afraid that if I get the shot, my skin will ripple into a gazillion wrinkles and then burn into a deadly rash, and then i'll explode!

But, I asked a few doctors that I work with and they all took their shots, and they are taking their families to get the shot...SO, that eased my mind. I think I will get one, because I come in contact with lots of strangers every day considering I work at a hospital, where people with swine flu end up going ANYWAYS! Im just scared to death...If I die will you guys be SURE to keep up with Tasteless Diamonds, and make sure Darling Nikky doesnt replace me?! Thanks! I love you..check on me tomorrow!
